Q. How was your game before you became sick?
PAUL-HENRI MATHIEU: I played only twice between Sunday and here. Nothing has changed in my game since Sunday.

Q. This gastroenteritis and this loss, are they bad timing? We are only in the beginning of the season.
PAUL-HENRI MATHIEU: It's not easy after the Davis Cup. I had no rest after that tie. Two days and a half after I was on clay already, and then here.
This is not the best preparation, because I'm playing the quallies in Rome and Hamburg. It's a handicap, but I'm going try to do well in Estoril (I'll be in Casablanca before) even if it means I won't go to Rome.

I've been trying to record Paulo+Julien in TTC Open Access for the last few days, but it just doesn't work!

I wonder why in the world did he put on that weird French accent?!

I couldn't make sense of what he was saying

Anyway, you've probably seen this already but this video just truly belongs here in a video thread!

Thanks to whoever make it, the video mostly featured Paulo's wonderful winners so I really feel like he came out on a winning side after all!

I have a complaint (I'm good at complaining

) and I don't really know where to post it, but since it's sort of video related I'll put it here. I made a point of watching the ATP Tennis show this week on the Tennis Channel because they usually show highlights of the previous weeks tournaments. So I was all looking forward to seeing some highlights of Paulo winning in Casablanca. Well this time they decided to only focus on Barcelona and show absolutely nothing from Casablanca

The beginning of the show included a clip where players talked about what kind of music

they listen to but of course no Paulo. It was still cool hearing about the players music preferences since along with sports, I love music....but all I really cared about was seeing Paulo winning the Casablanca tournament/trophy. Instead they ended the show with "highlights" of some old Safin match.
