Wednesday - The men are back
I thought a thread would be started much earlier
I must confess that in a way tomorrows matches give a bigger headache than the WTA ones... sure, Fedex and Roddick are overwhelming favourites, but will they lose a set?
I took Fed to win 3-1, and gave 1 unit to Grosjean for moral support
Hewitt and Nalby are the other two favourites, I guess? Hewitt- Lopez is for me difficult to predict even more than Nalby - Tojo, so I'm not going to touch Hewitt-Lopez, as both are capable of doing great tomorrow.
I think Nalby is indeed a favourite, but Tojo won't go down easily, so put one unit on 3-1 and one on 3-2 to Nalby...
To sum it up - my bets:
Fedex to win 3-1 @5.00
Grosjean to win @ 4.40
Nalby to win 3-1 @ 4.2
Nalby to win 3-2 @ 5.0
Your thoughts?

Re: Wednesday - The men are back
OK, decided to put one unit on Hewitt winning 3-2 and one on Lopez winning 3-2. They are both great fighters and I can't see this going in straight sets.

Re: Wednesday - The men are back
I have a hard enough time picking a winner so I never set bet, but good luck!
I think Arod will win easy but I'm a fan so hard to cap so I usually stay away w/ him.
Lean to Tojo, great results lately vs. Nalby who was almost out of this, and an impressive win v. Gasquet is tempered for me anyway by G still testing the waters at this level (I do think he'll be great) & he struggled against Elseneer. No bet for me there though.
Fed, zzzzzzzzzzzz, no bet
I'm going w/ Hewitt, he's certainly proved himself capable this week. If Lopez comes through, well, hats off and I'll have to grudgingly become a believer, but I think this is a straight setter.

Re: Wednesday - The men are back
federer x roddick x hewitt @ 1.59
Why do I even bother betting at these odds?

The only way Lopez is going down in straight sets is if he chokes. Otherwise Hewitt is in for his toughest match yet by far. Lopez is good odds considering i think he has a 50/50 chance.
I'm debating a large bet on : FEDERER X RODDICK @ 1.26 to win, boring i know but Roddick has such a good record against Sebby and Fed won't lose.
I might just wait and see though...

Re: Wednesday - The men are back
well, if it's a straight setter I get the same as if Hewitt wins 20-18 in the third, so I could care less as long as Lleyton takes it. C'MON!

Re: Wednesday - The men are back
I might end up betting the total sets for the match.
Federer V Gonzalez - 3 set match @ $1.45
Hewitt V Lopez - 5 set match @ $3.25
Nalbandian V Johansson - 5 set match @ $2.80
Roddick V Grosjean - 4 set match @ $3.00
Odds for them combined equals $40

Re: Wednesday - The men are back
You can't be serious betting the total sets of every match.

No I'm not serious, but there's some good odds there if you do 2 of them.

Re: Wednesday - The men are back
1) Lopez +1.5 @2.00.........form player a the moment could be a very long five setter
2) Johansson @2.2...............50/50 game this match up
3) Roddick 3-0 @1.72.............Grosjean will have difficulty smelling Roddicks services

Re: Wednesday - The men are back
Plus Gonzalez +2.5@2.54..............Federer has not look quite as invincible.....and Gonzalez is the sort of player who can fluke a set from Federer.....with his wild and aggressive style of play

Re: Wednesday - The men are back
Nalbandian has pulled out due to injury this year, don't label him as a full 100% victor.
