He is certainly one of several favourites including Ljubo, Tojo, Dent, Mirnyi and Fish, but he may not be seeded which could well severely dampen his chances of a successful defence. Add to that the fact that, as far as I know, no other previous champion has successfully defended his crown, and Paradorn's continuing poor run of results / form...the chances aren't high!

I would like to see P'Dorn escape from this tournament and concentrate for Wimbledon and North American hardcourt which he always produce a good result there. Moreover he doesn't has any point from major event to defend until US Open where he lost in R3

taking into consideration the way he played the last couple of months, i don't think he has a real chance to win again...maybe semis, if the draw's good to him...

If he can't get a set off Kim...there are few players in the Nottingham list he could beat.

I like him, but Paradorn is a player, one can never tell how he is going to play. He could fail in Round 1 in two sets or reach the final.

But I do also think, that he won't defend his title also his draw is quite promising, semi finals should be absolutely possible.
