Yes Federer Express - Mariano is on the entry list for Gstaad. However, rumour has it that he will be the 4th man in the Argentine Davis Cup team to play in Australia the week afterwards - and if this turns out to be the case he'll probably withdraw from Gstaad to travel with the rest of the team to Australia and continue grass court practice.

His next 3 scheduled tournaments are Queens, Nottingham and Wimbledon, though I personally think he'll withdraw from Queens to rest the thigh injury before Wimby.

When I have more time I will draw up a proper Tournament Schedule here like we have done in David's Forum - but it's very early days here for this Forum - so please bear with us while we get things up and running.

Finally he did withdraw from Queen's......I hope he plays in Nottingham, he must adapt his play to grass in order to have good results in Wimbly

Yea I will be sad if I don't get to see him and get to stalk him

But his Country must come first and if he needs to rest his injury for Wimbledon and Davis Cup to be on the safe side that I'm ok with that

You're welcome. I am kind of hoping he will play Basel and/or Vienna if he is in Europe in October anyway - quite a lot of the South American players do - but there is nothing confirmed as yet.

oh! that idiot pavel!!!he forgot 2 sign up for the romanian open, so he will get one of the 2 wild cards originally for puerta and gaudio. And now, only one of these 2 boys will come 2 the bucharest open!
