The answer of course is that he has played zero 250s on clay. Therefore only a total retard like yourself could think that his failure to win one means anything.

Default Re: Can Murray win RG 2014?

Of course. He'll win the 2015 RG championship with the draw of:

R1: Darcis
R2: Rosol
R3: Lu
R4: Stakhovsky
QF: Stepanek
SF: Lorenzi
F: Troicki

After losing the first two sets against Troicki of course. It'll be a tournament for the ages. Although it'll be a slightly harder draw than Wimbledon 2013.

Federer fans laud Fed's era as having strong opponents such as Safin, Haas, Nalbandian, and Hewitt. Yet, they were constantly injured, disinterested, and borderline sociopathic
(Safin's infamous racket breaks, Haas's tendency to have conversations berating himself on live television, and Nalbandian physically assaulting line judges

Federer's peak is supposedly in 2004-2007, but his best grass match was WI 2009 final, his best hard court match was WTF 2010 final, and his best clay match was RG 2011 SF

34 year old Agassi took peak Federer to 5 sets at U.S Open but any problem cannot be found? GOAT argument
20 y.o. Djokovic straight setted prime Federer at Aus. Open but any problem cannot be found? GOAT argument

Stepanek will probably have retired by then to spend some quality time with his 50 billionth girlfriend, but otherwise seems legit.

5. Murray hasn't peaked yet/Djovic&Nadal way past it.

Obviously it's not difficult to see why Murray is the clear favourite for RG2014. Any flaws in my theory?
Then Federer and Sampras would be the true clay goats

I guess Wimbledon is clay only when Nadal managed to won it, mate

It's very bad to see multislamray yet to reach clay final.

Too bad, as your threads are usually pure quality.

New murray, djokovic and nadal threads are temporarily banned! Especially by their fans & opposing fanbase!
Atleast until someone new wins a GS! Could be a while, too bad.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned...

Unlikely. His best clay level was in 2011 and he still couldn't beat the big three.
