My first POD, let's hope it's a good one:

Karantancheva over Likhotseva
No disrespect to Likhovtseva, but I'm not going to read too much into her defeat of Dementieva at all because her results against Dementieva and Farina Elia just sum up what's so wrong with the women's game - quite simply, it's more a case of her opponents' nerves failing to hold out than her being brilliant. In all honesty, I just can't see Karatantcheva bottling this the way Dementieva did considering how she took the game to Venus Williams, Shinobu Asagoe and the resilient Emmanuelle Gagliardi in her previous rounds.

Furthermore, on a more statistical note, Likhovtseva has played 18 sets in all so far (inc. doubles), compared to Karantancheva's 10, so you have to think that the latter will be the fresher of the two.

Very straightforward and a massive value bet for me.

I see where you are coming from Adk and I have placed that pick in my parlay on a small sum. However, I don't think the match is as clear-cut as you may think it is...Likhotseva has experience which will count for so much more in the latter stages now, and she has also played consistently on the singles court thus far. Sesil has been very up and down...hopefully this will be a good day for her.
