You can check old interviews here in this forum or on safinator.com. It's so old that I don't remember in which interview he said it. I know he would like to go to places like Scotland, which he thinks is romantic. Those castles are definitely nice places to go as a couple imo, so Marat knows what he's talking about.

i think silvia seemed more genuine...like not just there to attract attention etc...sometimes i got the impression that dasha was using marat for that reason too. anyway, so long as he plays well i really don't care lol

Don't you think Marat's taste for girls is pretty constant? Silvia and Dasha do have some resemblance. For instance: hair, size, face structure etc...
