Good stuff Pete. This was actually a pretty tough second round considering the draw and Pete did well to take it in straights. Hope he can go all the way, he really deserves it.

Pete lost in the singles semis to Greg Jones 76 46 26 and will now play Ebden for the bronze. Pete's gold medal hopes are still alive though in the doubles after he and Hanley upset Bhupathi and Paes with a convincing 62 62 win. They will now play Ross Hutchins and Ken Skupski for the gold later on tonight. Good luck Pete.

Looch gets a GOLD medal for Australia with a 3 set win with Handles over the Brit pair. A good match by the Aussies. the 2nd gold of the night after Rodianova silenced a vocal crowd by defeating local favourite Sania Mirza in a suspenseful match which went all the way to the tie-break in the 3rd set.
Looch plays off for a bronze medal against Ebden tomorrow evening.

I would imagine he will most likely be in the Qualies of the Stockholm ATP event given the close proximity to his base. The draws aren't out yet so we will have to wait and see.

He lost 36 75 63 to Mektic. Disappointing loss. Hopefully he can bounce back in his next tournament.
