The Sydney event is too short given you have both men's and womens. They should start some Men's game and more womens on the Sunday and even the Saturday with the final round of Qualifying.

They had to move it otherwise it would have started too late
Another stinking hot day here in Sydney so hope that works in Pete's favour against Berdych.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Excellent win for Pete in windy conditions. It is good that he is winning matches, and when he is winning he builds momentum, so I think he is a good chance against Fish. Centre court this time please organisers.

Amazing! One of the biggest wins of his career. I'm looking forward to seeing him play Fish on centre court. The match starts at 7:30 but the telecast doesn't start until 10:30. I'll make sure I'm not MTF between 8:45-10:30 as the result will be posted.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
The best match ever from Luczak, he must get better by age alot of sportsmen lose their talent by age but not him. He would love a win over Mardy Fish and set up a semi final clash agsinst Hewitt. I thought he was in with a chance but didnt actually think it would happen, he has played real good ever since that challenger win in Germany last year, and he played Wawrinka in a semi final in a challenger event and that went to three sets, so hopefully he meets a seeded player in the first or second round at the AUS OPEN that he can beat good luck, so hopes he beats Fish.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Peter looked so confident and self assured today. He played like a player who has the experience of having been seeded throughout his career, and I really hope he can keep this up throughout 2010. If he does, then it'll be a great year for him.
I'm delighted to have seen him play in person, though my view was obstructed. I still managed to get a couple of photos that I'll stick up here eventually. And the handsome bone structure is even more noticable in person if I must say so myself

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Shame he lost the quarter final but he has still had a very good tournament and Fish looks like he is having a good week this week. Hopefully Looch can get a nice draw for the Aus Open tomorrow.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Again, like his match with roddick had a small chance in the 1st set but let it go. Fish was serving well so it was always going to eb tough. Great week for Pete and onto AO now.

He should be in Melbourne today and good week for him, hope he can get a couple of wins there.
