Pete has finally made it through that dreaded couple of months of point defending and is now ranked 205 in the world which isn't too bad considering now he has no points to defend until October! and also his wife had their second child recently so there should be no reason why he shouldn't be playing every week for the rest of this year unless his injures himself again (fingers crossed).
He is playing in Zagreb, Croatia this week and has drawn a wildcard in the first round. Obviously he is going to play French qualies next week but I think he will end up skipping Wimbledon again and play some clay challengers in Europe where he shouldn't have much trouble gaining points due to the lack of other highly ranked players being present. To be realistic it would be a stretch to think he could get back into the top 100 by the end of this year but who knows, as long as he is ranked inside the top 150 by the Australian Open then I'll be happy.
