Pete won his 1st round match in straight sets and now plays Lopez Jaen next.

He lost his second round match, really needs to find that form, think he losing something like 50 points now and will be out of the top 100

Form has deserted him at the wrong time of the year. Most of our men seem either to be in the doldrums or injured. After reaching last weeks final Carsten lost in the first round this week.

surely he must be injured or something. This is very strange. When I last saw him play, he wasn't moving at all as well as he has in the past. Maybe something is bothering him.

It's quite possible that he picked up an injury but didn't want to take a break and sacrifice ranking points.... a common mistake that tennis players make! If that is the case then I think he should definitely take a break after RG if he ever wants to play another one (RG) in future!
If that is not the case then all I can do is wish him luck in re-discovering his form

Yeah hes playing Casablanca then RG but has not entered Furth where he is defending champion, probably wont enter Bytom so he is just going to straight up lose 115 points unless he can accumilate them at Casa and RG he will fall off the radar big time. Hes 10th alternate for Wimbledon so he may just get direct entry, dont expect anything at Wimbly though...

Pete is unlikely to play Wimbledon.

Well the fears have been confirmed, he retired after three games.

At least if the sb got the retirement right (has been wrong before).
