They lost but thats 4 extra matches!!! for his R1 at Aculpulco against Roitman i hope Pete wins but Roitman has beaten Peter twice before and obviously knows how to play

the doubles run must have given him some confidence...he crushed Roitman 6-3 6-4...made 70% of his 1st serves. Next up Starace or Lapentti. Pete needs to be making consistent QFs at this level if his ranking is going to improve.

Simple if Pete wins matches, then his ranking will improve, it's not rocket science.
He now plays Starace in the next round.

it's a long year. im confident if he keeps at it then he'll at least get to a final of a top tier tourny. imo he should focus solely and completely on clay, nothing else side from maybe gs or ms that aren't clay.
