Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Looch served well in the match against Jones, while Jonesy's serve went awol in the 3rd set. Unfortunately Looch lost against Kubot 75 62

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Now down to Melbourne for the Open. Thank goodness he can avoid the qualies and focus on the main draw which I hope is a kind one for him.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
I'm not normally a Luczak fan, but I'm just loving his draw. Ljubicic isn't who he used to be, then Paire or a Qualifier, and Almagro isn't good enough to be the 14th seed.

Legenda will still be tough for Pete at the moment. Hope it will be a hot day out on MCA and Looch can be consistent and run the big man around. Good luck mate.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Ljubicic hasn't been too great at the AO since 2006 with only three wins (Kubler, Golubev and Kunitsyn). He finished off the year with a couple of decent performances but it is hard to see whereabouts he is at in 2011 and I don't think you can read too much into the exho performances. IMO Ljubicic is the deserved favourite but it won't be overly surprising if Looch could pull out an upset here. Hopefully it's a hot day.

Shame to see Looch go out in the first round. Didn't get to watch it. How did Looch go?

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Looch, originally the 9th alternate, is in the main draw for Santiago after the withdrawal of Juan Carlos Ferrero. Bad news for Juan but hopefully Pete can have a good week in Chile

Good luck Pete, hope he plays well but there's no easy matches in these tournaments...

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Peter drew Pablo Andujar in the first round. Could have been better, but could have been worse. Best of luck, Pete!

Andujar defeated Peter 6-4 6-4. Qualies in Brazil next, you'd assume.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
Hopefully Pete can get a few wins if he plays the qualies of Costa Do Sauipe

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!
He should turn to challengers, not ready yet for these kind of ATP-tournaments with very good clay courters in them
