meh,

not sure what I want to do when I finish Uni and what I study has terrible job opportunities. On top of that I'm watching some of my roommates having a degree, but simply not being able to find work and sitting miserable at home every day. Fear that might happen to me in a few years time as well. And I'm not even convinced if this is what I want to do, but I already dropped out a different study once and I definitely don't have the money to start another one.

Love life, well, I'm single and although I definitely enjoy that, I think it would be nice to be in a relationship for a change. Just can't seem to find the right girl.

And I don't get along with the rest of my family very well. Never really had a good connection with them, we hardly have things in common.

But hey, PopCon is going well, so I got that going for me.

Of course.

Well, it's called 'Language and Culture Studies', but that's not really an appropriate name for it. You need to choose your own path and can do just about anything. I'm mostly going towards American culture/history etc.

Well it is my turn, I think my life is good, have a stable job, my parents help just with 1/2 of univercity taxes, I live in own apartment, have car, have girlfriend from 3 years (we live together from 1 year), so everything is perfect, the problem is that all my friends from school went to different countries and cities and we meet not very often, the other problem is that I don't have a time for studying because of work, but I prefer to have stable work.

I see. But you have some time yet (as I understand) to figure out what route you want to pursue. Would you be insterested in an academic career or would you like to go into something else, I guess advertizing/marketing could also be an option?

Happy, no. Optimistic, yes.

In the past few weeks, my injuries have almost healed up entirely, something I am very excited about, as I have not been fully healthy since I was 17. All that is left is some hamstring weakness I need to solve. I have finally quit Dominos, so I am very very happy about my freedom, but also very apprehensive about the future, and futures, in January/February. I am glad I quit Dominos now, as my weight has ballooned up to 20 pounds over my fighting weight, good lord. This what free pizza will do to you.

I am finishing college in the spring, one final class, to finish my history degree. I have saved up some money from Dominos that should last me for much of 2014, so I have a little cushion to focus entirely on tennis (and school, I guess), but not so much to where I can get lazy. I really need to make a move in the next 6 months, at least to get a coaching job at one of the academies around here, save up some money for another year, improve the game, buy a nicer van, and hit the tour Dustin Brown style with a nicer van than I would have had I left this coming April, and much more money in the pocket.

Bottom line, I need to improve my game. But I am optimistic, as always, that I will be able to do what it is that I want to do in tennis. As for my love life, well, my baby who I haven't seen in almost 2 years, I am going to see her in early April, so we gonna see what's going on with that.

If in 6 months, I can:

1. Finish College and get my family off my ass about that bullshit
2. Improve my tennis game enough, along with a certification or 2, to get a 30-40K academy job
3. Re-unite with my girlfriend, we pick up where we left off

I will be a very very happy dude.

Although things have been going well for me lately, I'm not exactly happy because I want to live in Peru, not in Singapore. My studies have been going on pretty well, I have been getting good marks, my school is alright. I do have friends to enjoy with but its not the same as living in my home country where I enjoyed there far more and I do miss my friends in Peru. Things were different there.

Singapore would be a good place to go during holidays but not to live. Things are so expensive here as well.

Next year would be quite a busy year, I have an important exam, its the N Level and I hope to do well there so I can either continue in school next year to do my O level or go to a foundation polytechnic course. I hope that when I finish my studies and NS here, I will be able to go back to Peru to live since I definitely don't want to spend my life here.
