Niiice. This one should provide further entertainment on the back of what I like to call the The Year of The Glucose Tablet.

Before they take action against players, they should start with the events, betting sites shouldn't be allowed to sponsor events, most definitely being the main sponsor.

That has nothing to do with match fixing. Do you think players walk from the players lounge to a betting stand and bet 50 euro on their opponent?

If someone said "Spanish challenger level fixer", I'd have a pretty clear idea who they're talking about ........ and it's not Gimeno.

lol, nothing to do. Why does match fixing happen in the first place, because of people that gamble on sports, meaning bet on who would win and lose. Tennis organizers should never endorse such a thing, if a player is playing an event sponsored by a betting site not only sponsored by is main sponsor, they are also endorsing the product.

The melzer losses in this 2 Davis cup matches early this year is more suspicious. Both matches betting odds were more than 8.00 after he broke in the first set. He then proceed to lose the next 3 sets by dumping UEs.

Many gamblers made a huge cash out and this is not even talked about?

That is the most moronic accusation I have ever read on this forum.

Your argument is based on principles (understandable ones) but having Bet-at-home Open change its name is not going to affect match fixing, is it? Bookmakers will always make money offering odds on tennis, it would be stupid of ATP and WTA not to take advantage.

You know that the chair umpires virtually set the odds for livebetting with some companies? Every time an umpire presses a button for a won point, he/she automatically updates scores and odds on bookmakers website.

The only well known player so far is Koellerer and that did not exactly shock us all, did it?

Unless it's a match-fixing rumour

DGT must have hit 5 consecutive backhands over the net in order to garner suspicion from the authorities.
