It's just an exho, not a big deal although we all know that indoor HC is Nalbandian's strongest surface. I wouldn't be surprised if Nole simply let Nalbandian win against him. I doubt Djokovic will take match too seriously.

Btw, just curious, how much money are Nole and Rafa getting for playing this exho?

Oye, que ni hace falta que le agradezcais el gesto, pero un poquito de vergüenza y de decencia sí podías mostrar, yo creo. Cansinos.

Yeah, Nole won't but Rafa took this match seriously

Just imagine for a sec, how he would look if he won?! Of course, he lost, he wanted to! That's the purpose of this exho! Let Nalba and his fans enjoy tennis, once more!

Seems like a few Nadal fans forgot that Nadal always plays 100%

There was many moments when Nadal was trying and Nalbandian just schooled him.

I still think if he got fit again, he could take Gasquet's spot in the top 10

Lenders: One thing people need to understand about this so-called weak era is that it was 'weak' for Federer on HC and grass and for Nadal on clay (Federer on clay too Nadal apart) because they were so much better than anyone else, for any outsider the era couldn't possibly be any harder, during 5+ years you had to either beat the best grass/HC player ever or the best clay player ever in every single Slam just to get 1 Slam title.

I didn't see the match but I doubt that Rafa took it seriously. I agree with you that probably both Nole and Rafa are honoring Nalbandian. That's just my opinion though. If Novak def. Naldandian I might change my opinion .

Seriously, stop shitting your pants. Rafa is gonna beat Fed's GS record, dealt with it! But it's still few years to go. Are you gonna scare us with your disproportionate hatred ALL those 3-4 years?!
What does does Federer have to do with anything? The only one around here making bitter excuses is you.

You can allways go with the "Nole tried to tank but he is so good that he won anyway".

This was the most serious exho match I have seen in a while. No joke.

Moments when Baldy had advantage Rafa would step it up and Baldy would come up with a back hand winner.

In my opinion Nalbandian's backhand alone could keep him in the top 20. Even at his age and fitness

He didn't forget his holidays, he's receiving a shitload of money for this.

And he was welcomed very well in Argentina, trust me.

Sure fitDavid is a complicated opponent in a 3 sets matches, but GS are played in Outdoors and the BO5. So if you are saying that a younger and fitter Nalbandian could upset Nadal in some Master 1000, especially in indoors, I would agree, but that is.
