If Smethurst wins the tournament he will be about 295, which this year would have gotten him into AO qualies. Don't know him that well but I have no one better to root for
Not being harsh but with the year he's had it would be undeserved. his biggest title was a 15K Futures on Clay. and that's Career wise . Never got passed a second round of a Challenger before this week . He's only had to beat one high ranked player so far thought.
