Default Question about deleted thread......

Why was my thread on mentally weak french players deemed racist and deleted as a reuslt?

How does raising a debate on why a certain crop of players have tendancies to implode or get ultra nervous and break down on important points in matches constitute racism? or causing offence?

This is some politically correct mumbo jumbo, clear reasoning how the thread in any way caused offence? Are you french yourself?

If what I was asking was deemed offensive, then shall we delete all the remarks on Ferrer being a vulture? and half the posts on various player's being mugs? and that's only touching on the shallow surface.....

Any explanation whatsoever?

If it generally tends to be french player's whom lack mental toughness and stability, what do you want me to do? How else can I word it? Why do quite many player's born and bred in france have weak mindsets on-court?

There is no way of wording this without stating their nationality. So now we cannot even debate basic stuff like this? It's ridiculous. Who found that thread offensive? Nobody!

As I told you in reply to the private message you sent me,

I wouldn't be so upset about a thread being deleted, sometimes threads get deleted due to what other users in the threads are saying, or because things seem out of hand or unnecessary. To be fair, your thread could be seen as rude to some French tennis fans, you did refer to some of them as "spoilt children," and accused them of tanking matches (which is also against site rules). That's generalizing. There's no point to such a thread. Don't take it personally, though. No one deemed it racist.

I dunno what went on here but I'd like to make a suggestion to mods. I notice sometimes you will delete posts and threads without informing the user who's thread/post you deleted. I think a PM to inform them why their thread/post was deleted would be cool.
