The fact you can lose a match and still progress is ridiculous. With the exception of the unique Novak Djokovic, most players are exhausted after a long season and don't/can't play to their maximum. It's just a glorified exhibition that gives the ATP one last chance to fleece the punters before the holidays.

The Olympics laugh at how shit the WTF is.

The Olympics? You mean that tournament that you can win without playing a single top 10 player?

I mean the event you only get one shot in your prime to win. The ultimate test of nerve and character. Only the strongest deliver.

Well by that time his Mono/Back injury/Vaginal Thrush, or whatever it is he's been dealing with, will have cleared up.

That's the only reason he's not winning.

He obviously meant it's the best because Rafael Nadal has never won it.

I think he's only doing some useless PR for the ATP. He probably doesn't even think what he says is really true.

I can understand grass cant be done indoors but why cant they make indoor clay?

Even Beijing , Nadal said that the ball was hardly spinning... all indoor courts like that should employ slower balls for balance... or clay like surface.

who wants to see a boring match like Beijing Finals , some spin would have allowed Nadal to show his skils.. right now it was simply one dimensional skillless service play
