Oliver Stone would do a great job with Novak's story. His rise from poverty against all odds would make an amazing movie. Then there's the wonderfully supportive family, the cute-as-a-button girlfriend, but most importantly, bringing down the top 2 players in the world when nobody said it could be done. The conclusion is up for grabs at this point, but I suppose we'll know in one years time, after the Davis Cup.

Wasn't there a low-budget film about this?

The best film to feature any tennis was Strangers on a Train.

There's no blood and guts like boxing, motor-racing and american football.

The best tennis could do is comedies like Space Jam (basketball) and Happy Gilmore (golf). Would love to see a tennis comedy.

Wimbledon should have been good but they screwed up the details badly. It didn't even appeal to the tennis hard core fans.

Yeah the main character was taught to stand in a funny way while returning serves so his opponent would lose concentration.

Make a live feed of the live commentary thread during a Federer loss and record it. Problem solved.
