One can never telll with Chucho though, that's the thing about him. I am disappointed that he lost, especially as I won't get to see him on TV against Nadal, but with that serve, he should be a factor indoors and on hardcourts, though playing metres behind doesn't always help him.
He had a good week, just hope he can play on the bigger stage more often.

Re: Jose "Chucho" Acasuso Room
Thanks for the pics Kathy!
Real pity that Chucho lost, but on the other hand i'm kind of shocked (or more pleasantly surprised) that he was a tough challenge for Radek. There was no coverage of this match in Poland (except for one point in the news - Chucho missed and then gracefully broke his racket), but it's always good to know, that Chucho didn't drop his serve even once. Of course, then again the loss is somehow more frustrating, but he proved that he can be a good indoor player. Last year he finished his season in Metz. I'm glad that this year he's looking for points in more indoor tournaments.
Now, fingers crossed for Basel. I hope he won't have a terrible draw this time and that I’ll be finally able to see him on tv.

Re: Jose "Chucho" Acasuso Room
i only remember that score becuase i had a good laugh at it. my faves, as you know, used to play in futures events but now they moved to challengers soon they'll be playing loads of Q to ATP tournies. cannot wait .
btw, this year was a breakthrough for Chucho in this aspect, that he won two matches in a row on hardcourt (first time in January). that really counts... plus few other good performances on hardcourts...
Effka i'll have pics from szczecin scanned this evening so don't go to the club but stay here and wait at the moment i'm in the net cafe waiting. greetz.

Re: Jose "Chucho" Acasuso Room
Chucho decided it's time for rest (Paris seems such a boring place without him). Thanks to his good result in Basel, he went up 9 pos. in entry and is now ranked 40 which is really close to his best spot ever (38th in 2002). Of course, things will probably change after Paris but last year Chucho ended up as 66th player in the race and today he's 39th
As always with you Chucho, completely no expectations, but fingers crossed for the next season. And have a nice lay off

Hello back at you
Btw - Chucho is enjoying his off-season, and this weekend he has been attending a car rally in his home town. Thanks to Jazz_Girl for the information.
