Re: Nico Returns in Houston!
Thanks Cobalt - sorry it was such a pain! :-( I know you're busy. For the next tournament, we can start a touranment thread for all of Nico's tournies this year, and Fergie or I can start it because both of us seem like we have more time to change it...at least I do...lol! :-)
That is such funny story Kathy!!! He did the same in the Sargasian match. He told Pato that he was going to retire, he didn't feel right on the court, and no one could understand how he felt. I was laughing, but at the same time I felt bad for him. And during Wimbledon, he keep yelling about the grass, adn hitting it with his racquet, and saying how he couldn't wait until he was playing on clay again (my spanish was better then...lol!).
BUENA SUERTE NICO - the match s/b starting soon.

Re: Nico Returns in Houston!
Fergie o Alonso - since you are there in Chile, anything on TV or radio - is Nico okay? He's not hurt again, is he? I will be devastated if he got hurt. I don't care if he lost - I just want to make sure he's okay. Neither terra.cl or latercera.cl have said anything except that he lost.

Re: Nico Returns in Houston!
I saw he has his own lottery game - loved the pictures of him during the promotion for it! I wish I lived in Chile so I could buy them! :-)
If you hear news about Nico if he's okay, let us know.
Gracias!

Re: Nico Returns in Houston!
so it doesnt says anything about injuries...maybe he just didnt do well...its a lot beter than if had got something physical....
best of luck for next tournament...VAMOS NICO! GARRA!!!!

Re: Nico Returns in Houston!
This should put some of your minds at rest. Sorry I am at work and haven't the time to translate the whole article now, but here is a link to it, with one translated paragraph:-
http://www.tercera.cl/medio/articulo...002611,00.html
Lo importante es que Nicolás no sintió problemas físicos. Sólo le falta agarrar horas de tenis, que fue lo que le pasó la cuenta en el partido de hoy (ayer)", comentó Claudio Ferrer, preparador físico de Massú.
"The important thing is that Nicholas did not feel and physical problems. It was only the lack of match practice/fitness and lack of recent match play that caused him to lose the match today so easily", commented Claudio Ferrer, his physical trainer.

Re: Nico Returns in Houston!
Thanks for that Rosie! I just saw it myself!
That's all that matters! I was so worried about him last night, and was afraid to look this morning.
He's going to have problems winning for awhile, and he is aware of that. Of course, he says he knows it, but knowing him, he will get discouraged anyway.
Stay calm Nico...the results will come!

Re: Nico Returns in Houston!
I hope he is thinking that it isn't winning right now that is the main thing, it is being out there and staying healthy. If he continues, he wil start winning.
