Default Re: Paris Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated September 29, 2013)

Thus far the only non-French player imaginable for a wild card may be Sousa.
However, Basel and Valencia are not over yet.

My initial guess for the 3 wild cards went: Llodra + Mahut + Mannarino
...but Vasselin played significantly better than Mannarino the last weeks and a wild card for him would be like deserved.
Mahut is playing (and winning) Challengers in France and seems like a lock for a wild card.
Llodra, who advanced to the Paris SF last year, has come back from injury only recently, but defeated Gasquet now, so I think he will be in Paris too.
Mathieu is popular in France, didn't play so well this year (is ranked outside the top100), but made the 2nd round in Basel now, so who knows if he will be considered before Vasselin.
Lastly, DeSchepper made the QF in Stockholm and may be too an outside candidate for a wild card.

@supertom:
Well, Olivetti is hardly Challenger level. There are several better options than him.

Default Re: Paris Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated September 29, 2013)

Yes Mahut should have a WC for sure.
LLodra only in case of he is physically ok.
Guess Roger-Vasselin could be a WC even if it is not the most popular player.. Mathieu is a more popular player that could have a WC too.. Mannarino or De Scheeper are also possible WC. Finally, Olivetti is an appreciate player and could be granted but he just retired from Stockholm..
Then if FFT is consistent, Pouille could have a WC, maybe more for qualies.

At one point, Soderling was maybe coming back here - of course with a WC.. But I haven't heard that much for one month..

Melzer not yet withdrew? His season ended with a partially torn tendon in his shoulder.

Monaco too?

Robredo will be out maybe

And also Cilic is probable to be out.

So Dolgo, Pospisil and Davydenko should get in directly
