That's a nice win on clay for Pim...even if it was doubles. I agree with your Birte, Pim should play as many matches as possible on clay (mix-doubles @ RG!!!)

Did anyone else see Safin's racquet break in his singles?  the head flew off over the net as he went to hit the ball

I read in the Marat forum here that he (Marat) has an arm injury, so I guess this is the reason why they could not play... So glad that there´s nothing wrong with Pim Pim
