Its going to be rough for him. He needs to be mentality prepared to lose for awhile, but I think he gets discouraged quickly.
I think coming back in Houston was a good idea. Most of the guys that go are not clay court players - so if he can get an easy draw and then win even the first round, it will help him. And he can't expect much in Rome - no such think as an easy draw in a Master Series event.
Latercera.cl said that he's practicing at the Club Palestino - is that in Santiago or Vina?
I don't know what's up with him. Getting really discouraged here.
He has a terrible team surroudning him, because he refuses to speak to the press most of the time, we have no idea what type of special rehabilitation he's doing (if any), I can't imagine who he's practicing with that will allow him to get back to the level where he'll be game ready when he gets back, the only time he's in the papers when he with some "model" - when he should be training. And of course, Pato is still around whe he should have gotten rid of him a couple months back.
If he doesn't come back in Rome, something is really very very wrong.
So true Fergie - its one thing after another - first the delay in the hernia surgery, then rushing him back onto the court too soon and going to Australia when his foot was injured. This loco fight with Horacio.
Okay - who do we go to complain to...lol!!!!!!!!
And I miss Gabriel too. He was a great coach.
Can't stand Pato. Definitely will never ever never miss him :-(
Poor Nico - he's such a great guy but he has a lousy team surrounding him. But he doesn't seem to think so which makes me really confused - its so obvious! I can't believe he can't figure out that he needs a new team around him - new coach, new fitness coach, professional management.
