As people have said, it's just the post code for the general area of London Wimbledon is in.
Like my flat is in W2, and then there is another section of the postal code that would tell you which street and building etc.

SW19 = is the wimbledon post code . putney is SW15 and fulham is SW6. basically it stands for South West 19.
