Nieminen the mental midget, horrendous attempt at serve and volley on the 3rd match point and the 1st one on his serve

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.
Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal

Why? This is a classic example of a mediocre boring player with a huge serve beating a far more talented shotmaker with a small serve. It's bad for the game

But the good thing is, despite the loss, Jarkko seems very positive going into the USO.

from Jarkko's blog:

"I lost against Querrey 4-6, 7-6(4), 7-6(10). It was a pretty good match from me. I lost only one service game in the first set, otherwise I held all of them. I was controlling the game really well from the baseline but even though I was a clearly better player from the baseline, I couldn't break him because he started to serve a lot better after the first set.
I didn't play well in the second set tie-break but I raised my level again to the third. In the end I had a 6-3 lead in the tie-break, then Querrey served twice a good first serve + hit a risky drop shot in the other point. After that I hit a good first serve, played serve and volley but hit the volley long. From 6-6 it was bad quality from both, I had one more match point in his serve but I did a same mistake than in all the last points after 6-6... when I saw that Querrey is extremely tired, I stopped hitting hard, I started just to move him but at the same time there wasn't any pace in my shots anymore. That's why some balls were flying long and some I missed.

It would have been nice to win this match of course but at least I got a lot of match play again which I needed. Now I'll look forward to US Open. I have a couple of matches under my belt, I can play 100% and it seems that my game is getting better every week, at least that has been the case in last 3 weeks. New York, here I come!"

People are not "free" to express an opinion. Instead, if they choose to express anything, they choose to pay the price. The price is the effect on others and the effect on the person. There is no free lunch in this world.
