Default spanish tournements in december 2002

Carlos Moya has returned from vacation and is getting ready for next
season. He'll play in the first Castilla and León Masters from
December 13-15 in Vallodolid (Patricia's hometown).
This is a message i found in our club; does anyone knows more information about these tournements? Where can we get information, which sites etc.
Thanks
Claudine

I found the answer myself. It's a Spanish event and it might actually be a new event. Similar to the Spanish Masters that Carlos didn't play in last month. Carlos will enter directly into the semifinals, so it's closer to an exhibition than to a real tournament. He'll play the winner of the quarterfinal match between Beto Martín and Feliciano López. Albert Costa is in the other semifinal

Valladolid is the hometown of Patricia, as in Conde, Carlos' GF?

Alex is playing an exhibition match [I think] in Lleida, to honour Costa, next Friday also, Dec. 13.

Lots of stuff going on!

Funny what Costa said at RG -- that the Spanish "eat good" -- he's right! I did when I was in Spain!!

Tomorrow they will play the semis, when moyke and Costa wins their semi they will play against each other in the final
Costa wants to take revenche from his defeat in Shanghai. I can understand him, this is sports, but I surely hope moyke can win again.

Hola a todos!

Aqui noticias del torneo Castilla y Leon:

15.12.2002 - 14:55

Costa also beat Corretja in Lleida where he was honoured by the town and the mayor! Is he on a roll or what?? A good year for Costa! Felicitaciones!

OUt of curiosity, does anyone know why Ferrero doesn't play these?

Not that I mind - I would rather he keep on training as he has the last years, since that seems to be working for him.

But I'm just wondering.

Anyone?
