Lendl may act stoic nowadays, but he had quite a few meltdowns when he played.

Tim Henman, even in the heat of Wimbledon frenzy stayed pretty dull and devoid of personality.

Igor Kunitsyn, calmest player on tour I've seen in person.. the guy just goes about his business, down 0-5 or up 5-0 or 5-5 in the 3rd set, just calm, never seen him break a racquet or scream or yell or fistpump, or talk to himself or anything like that.

Did people forget how "calm" Federer was before 2003?

His mentally was like Federer's a bit. Pretty calm for the most part but when they got upset, shit hits the fan. Overall, they were pretty cold as ice.

I bet Lendl received more code violations in one season than Roddick, Safin or any of the more recent hotheads received in their whole careers.

Gerry Armstrong and Richard Ings both probably had nightmares over umpiring his matches.

Poor Goran, so many psychological troubles both on and off the court.

Sampras and Lendl are as calm as they come. It's a trap to mistake Fed's apathy for calmness though, and there's the early years .

Lendl's sawdust had a soothing affect. Brought his woodworking hobby right on the court.

I always thought Micheal Chang was lobotomized.

The other side to staying calm is maintaining control over nerves and jitters. Henman was notorious for giving in to either.
