Re: Good Luck to Juanqui in Miami thread
Brendan Evans? Never even heard of this guy, so that must be good. Unfortunately I have heard of Canas, this is really worrying me, but if he's playing good, then he can definetly win.

I would not count on Canas' tiredness. I think he is a very tough opponent, btw: they never played each other in an official match before. Good luck, JCF!

JC shouldn't have a problem, but Brendan Evans is a really good American junior. He doesn't have the weapons or the experience that Ferrero has.
Don't look ahead, please. It's scary.

Yeah considering he's got a BYE for the 1st round... LOL
Anyways, what scares me the most, is that if we look further, admitting that he beated Evans, and Canas... Then Pavel or Andreev, and *looks down* Marrrrat could be in the 1/4 final...
So why don't we take each match one by one ??

Re: Good Luck to Juanqui in Miami thread
Alright, unless he goes through all these bad draws and gets up on the ranking - he won't receive a good draw.
Taking match by match. ***JC, when are you going to kick ass and give 100% confidenct that you will win matches at the drop of hat???***

Re: Good Luck to Juanqui in Miami thread
with where JC is right now, i dont think any master series draw is going to be considered 'great' but hes pulling it back, and hes rising up again. its what we've all been hoping for, hes beck on the road to the top hes making us proud

Slowly but surely. He'll get there. Winning a few rounds here and there, especially after beating Andreev so convincingly last week, it should be good for him.

confidence is the key to top flight tennis is it not? and JC's just collecting some valuable kick ass confidence points, is all

Re: Good Luck to Juanqui in Miami thread
Lalitha, but him going through this process after such a long absence was unavoidable. patience might be running low, but itll happen. i believe it HAS to, hes too good a player to not return to the top of mens tennis, the top 10 is not the same without him
but i totally understand your frustration i feel it too
