Hola Chicas! been absent too long - but the usual, up to my eyes in work, had a stinking cold and Apple has not been well - she's got conjunctivitus. Haven't been to the vet with her for ages. Didn't realise she was 5 years old! Which makes Arthur 6.

Sjoukje - hope the boys are doing well!

Maybe everyone has seen the mini-Nando japanese animation before, but I've followed the artist who does these for awhile and I've never seen it. I ran across two of them (with and witout hat) via Twitter today, so I thought I would post it in here just in case some of you haven't seen it yet:

Hi Sjoukje, Apple's problem is curable - it's just finding the cause. her eyes are not inflamed, just watering. The vet thinks it might be teeth trouble! I pointed out she is only fed on Excel and only has the occasional treat. Apple wouldn't let the vet examine her at first - hehehe, she is fiesty! - but she did on the second visit - and sure enough, she has a small bone spur on one of her back teeth! It may need filing. I will take her back this week, and ask for an anti-biotic shot as well as ointment. Hopefully, that will do the trick.
