Had an awful Easter - my sore throat turned out to be acte viral tonsilitus! I don't ever remember having tonsilitus before - because if I had, I can't believe I would have forgotten how painful it was. It reduced me to tears! Painkilers and brufen did nothing for it. Only today do I feel the swelling has gone down. Having a raging temp and being violently sick didn't help either!

Im still very tired and can't stop coughing. The doctor said it's because I'm still not 100% recovered, so I better stay home this week and start work again on Monday. Also have to go and see him on Monday. Maybe I'll start on Friday, maybe not, we'll see how things go.

Yesssss, it´s almost weekend

So much looking forward to it, even if it will be quite stressy for me..
I have amongst others spanish lesson both tonigh and tomorrow morning, but I guess it will be lots of fun as well

Do you all have nice plans for the weekend???

I'm hoping to finally set foot outdoors tomorrow! Swelling has gone down, but my neck is very stiff (swollen glands) and I've been sick a few times today. I'm also very tired. I've no patience being ill!

Sjoukje - take your doctor's advice - thank goodness mine isn't a chest infection, but remember how ill Kiwi has been? You need to get fully back on your feet before even thinking of work.

I know what you mean about having no patience being ill, so I went back to work yesterday. It was alright. I'm still tired, but I have to go back to the doc on Monday so he can fix it

Im also taking some vitamin pills with extra stuff to boost your energy, hoping these do the trick.

I just bought myself a ticket to see Kane in Utrecht on June 5

they are doing a try out tour for the new album and all the dates and/or venues suck! This one was best. Also Amsterdam would be great, but it's on the same day as Juanes

I really wanted to go to at least one of these smaller shows. I know I'm going to the Kuip but that's too big for me, so I"m happy with this one. Hope it will be fun and that I don't run into that sad sad group of people I used to hang out with years ago

(they can go jump if they think I'm ready to have a nice chat to them

)

I was even thinking of going to Eindhoven Gaby, but it's on a Thursday too and it would be too much of a hassle coz I don't want to take time off work. If it had been on the weekend... but no.
