I'm just speculating here, because I know very little about Chris' physical condition, but he's always seemed a little heavy, or at least not as toned as he should be for a pro tennis player. It's possible that his injury problems would be aided by him working harder off the court.
I'm hoping he can be a regular in the DC doubles and potentially become a highly ranked doubles player if he can't climb up the singles ranks, but he hasn't been selected for this DC tie and won't be selected if he's not winning matches.
Good stuff. With this I think he's pretty close to top 100 in doubles so hopefully he can start playing some ATP doubles & make a bit more money. I hope he continues to play singles qualies where he can. He has the sort of game that at some point or another it is possible he will switch on & have a run.
