I noticed Guccione was up 5-1 in the 1st set breaker versus Garcia-Lopez on the live scores. I come back and he lost the breaker 7-5

. But he's 11/11 break point saved (now 3-3 in the 2nd) so that's great!

Felt so sorry for Gooch. After a long wait for rain delays, the Reid 3-setter, the Mailman marathon and the Jonesie 3 sets, he only took to the courts after 9pm. His was not a very long match though, surprisingly going down to Bachinger 7-6, 6-1.

The big Gooch gets into the Final in Burnie, outlasting Tomic to win 76 in the 3rd set. He served for the match at 5-4 but Bernie broke back then took the match to the tie-break. Gooch served 4 aces in a row to get to 6-5 up, then surprisingly Tomic came to the net (a rare event for him) and hit the volley wide to give Gooch the win.

Chris is seeded number 1 in the USA Futures tournment and takes on Vladmir Obradovic in the first round. He has a pretty good draw so i hope he can go deep.

Not a good result, Gooch should beat the likes of Obradavic. His serve alone should have got him through that match ....if it was firing.

Chris is seeded number 2 in a Futures in the USA and takes on talented WC Devin Britton in the first round got a feeling its gonna be a tough match but hopfully he can play a bit better this week. If he can get through that match he really should be troubled till the semi finals.
