Chris went on to lose to Fernando Verdasco in two tie breakers. shame he did not win but Verdasco has been in fantastic form tis year so perhaps chris has dug himself out of that hole and has played himself into some form. Lets hope so anyway.
Well, he's in solid serving form, he had won a few return points in the tiebreak against evrdasco then it could of gone the other way. Hopefully he can pull something off in beijing, really needs a run there or in New York
I watched Chris play James Blake. He had chances, had James very rattled particularly when he had set point and then typically folded away in the tie break. I can't wotk out why his tie break record is so poor. He lumbers around like a cow boy, and as someone said here recently needs to pump himself up. I always got the feeling that he was going to capitilate at some stage. Had lots of support and was really in the match.
