It wouldnt matter that he was leaving on Wed coz he has a bye and would play first on Sun or Sat! And also he doesnt have to acclimatise as th weather in Aussie and California is rather similiar this time of year!!

The draw is out. Sorry about the pdf format. Ll has a bye and then it is Acasuso or Ginepri. Hrbaty is the seeded player in his section. In the same quarter as Agassi and Coria (who are in the same eighth if that makes sense).

Roddick is in the same half.

All in all, a reasonable draw. Not powderpuffy, but not exactly brutal either. Hrbaty's been playing well to start off this year.

Yeah, Agassi and Lleyton have had some pretty close-fought, entertaining matches...so that would be good for the fans.

Not for my nerves, but the fans.

First things first though...

I was just reading that Ferrero and Moya might meet in the 2nd rd. *sighs* for JCF.

Hot damn it feels good to be back !!!!!!!! My computer at home is busted with a virus and the internet shut down in February because somebody (whoops) downloaded too many songs of Kazaa! So I'm posting this from school! I hope I'm posting this in the right thread and I hope you guys missed me !

Clijsters ready for Indian Wells

Kim Clijsters continues her comeback from a wrist injury when she takes on Australian Nicole Pratt at the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells on Wednesday.
The former world number one returned to action in Antwerp last month where she reached the last eight after over four months out with the problem.

The Belgian was victorious in the event in 2003 when she beat current world number one Lindsay Davenport.

Davenport, Amelie Mauresmo and Maria Sharapova top the tournament seedings.

Davenport is aiming to claim a third title after successes in 1997 and 2000.

The American, runner-up to Justine Henin-Hardenne last year, consolidated her position at the top of the rankings with a hard-fought victory over Jelena Jankovic in the final of the Dubai Open on Saturday.

Mauresmo will be playing at Indian Wells for just the third time in her career after reaching the quarter-finals last year.

Sharapova, who made her WTA Tour debut at Indiana Wells in 2002, has started 2005 in superb form, winning back-to-back titles in Tokyo and Doha and reaching the semi-finals of the Australian Open.

Elena Dementieva is seeded fourth, followed by fellow Russians Svetlana Kuznetsova, Vera Zvonareva, Nadia Petrova and Elena Bovina.

Don't you know Lleyton's eyes light up when he sees Andy in his draw? He just sees a C in front of Andy's name.

On Friday, there is an exhibition to collect money for the tsunami-victims. The only top-player not mentioned in the announcement is Lleyton Hewitt. Was he omitted by mistake or did he decide not to take part? If so, why not? Does anyone know?

Well, Lleyton, unlike Moya and Federer, played Davis Cup over the weekend and just flew in from Australia yesterday. He's probably still trying to get over his jetlag and wants practice time on the IW courts, that's all.

It's also possible that, since he just changed managers, that the organizers were not able to get hold of him to ask him.
