Just Henrique Sousa or Gonçalo Falcão has remote possibilities to surprise here. For the best of tennis I hope that JRN doesn't qualifies.

By the way, I played against José Campos last summer and now he's on Guimarães Qualy.

Great win for him to start! Suck it "Bye"

Gonçalo Pereira, 28 years old, 922th of ATP ranks, won the WC tournament, so yeah, Maid Draw WC to him. Last one will be given tomorrow. Cannot imagine not being Murta.

Henrique Sousa has a good game, but he is a huge choker, so anything can happen with him, really. Other ones won't have a chance IMO, but hopefully they proof me wrong.

You're right, I was forgetting him, but I still think Murta is by far the most deseved one, although I wonder why one of them are not in the qualifiers of this one.

lol it is not a poor field 9 tournaments in the same week. It is quite good considering the situation.

I just can't explain what Rui Pedro Silva is doing there with a WC. The only reason is that Murta chose to play in Spain, I don't know.

Bad luck for Frederico on the draw, Domingues can get a win here. João Sousa with a good draw.

If Murta is playing in Spain, then where is Mensurado?

I can't explain. He's being out of tournaments last weeks, maybe injured?

Even so, couldn't they have done better than a dude I've never heard of (and I follow futures quite extensively)

I'll try to find more information but Rui Pedro Silva was on USA training and came back recently. He's from Guimarães, he's playing at home and that's probably the main reason for that.
