Happy to have been wrong about this. I thought Wawrinka would pose more of a threat, and that Hewitt's body would eventually lose out. Well done to the man. He's seriously showing this current generation how to play on grass, and it's quite enjoyable to watch.

Wow what a crazy day today was. I was hoping Hewitt could win this just because I love to see the old guys make runs past their primes but I never would have expected him to take it in straights. I used to really dislike Hewitt too ... funny how that goes.
HEWITT!!! I'm so happy that Rusty got this result and while I didn't watch the match, I heard many good things regarding his play that he's rolling back the years with his determination and passion on the grass court. It was also surprising given my prediction that I had the exact same scoreline if Wawrinka was playing well, but boy I was glad the opposite happen!
I could not be happier that Hewitt is playing at this level again while injury-free and I'm very excited the things to come for Hewitt if he sustains this level. He has a great opportunity to make a run to the Quarters against Fed.
Overall, I'm so glad to see Hewitt back in form again through taking out top players and also overcoming bad luck R1 draws. Hope to see you achieve higher.
