I saw Mo walking and I said hello, as I always do and then asked him if he would pose. He would He kissed Amigo then he wanted to approve of the photo So I asked him if the picture was good enough for his Appreciation Society. Yes it was

After the Nestor/Zimonjic - Tipsarevic/Troicki match I went to Zimonjic. We had Daniel yesterday, so his partner would be good too Mo saw this and he yelled to Nenad: you haved to do this You HAVE to do this!!!! And Nenad was: do what?! Ooooh okay!! Then he posed and Mo said: I kissed it And then I thought Nenad would fall over laughing! You kissed it?!?! Soooooo funny!!!!

We also talked about the picture he got with all of us on it in Romania. It's at my home he said That was amazing, I really like it!

he should become an ITF umpire then! umpiring a GS final is the highest honor afterall!

Also at one point during the match I made an attempt to catch a ball..... but, it hit my hand the wrong way so it bounced away and I hurt my hand. Mo looked at me from his chair and started to explain to me from where he was sitting, how I should catch a ball The face, the gestures he's hysterical!

So after the match I thanked him for the lesson "how to catch a ball" and he showed me again

ATP umpires can get GS finals now(dunno if they could earlier). Lars Graff was the umpire in Wimbledon if I recall. So Lahyani should have a great chance as long as Soderling is not on one side of the net!

Just discovered this wonderful thread! I've admired Umpire Lahyani for a while now - he's such fun to watch when he's umpiring. I met him a couple of times at Queens last week and he signed my ticket and posed for a photo. He told me that he's off to Eastbourne this week, so look out for him there.

Hey guys! I've always had a thing for Mohamed Lahyani of all umpires, he just seems so darn adorable and nice to the judges and the ball girls, giving them courage and cheering them up almost after every change of ends, he is remarkable! I had no idea there existed an appreciation community for him so now that i found it out, Could i join pretty please? By the way, searched it everywhere but no luck, does anybody know when is his birthday?
