Default If Nadal/Federer defeats Fed/Nadal>Andy>Nole en route to the wimbledon crown...

... where would it rank in the open era in terms of greatest quality of QF>SF>F opponents en route to a Grand Slam victory?

Nadal has a chance to defeat the world number 3, 2 and 1 in succession to win a GS - has this ever happened before? Same fed has a good chance to beat 5, 2 and 1 in succession which is ultra impressive consider the 5 is Nadal.

I hope the winner comes from this quarter. Rafa has a chance to equal the grass head to head here with Fed. But if Fed does indeed beat Rafa i hope he goes on to win it.

If Federer did this it'd be his greatest achievement in Slams so far.

Agree with this, but for both of them. I hope it happens... for Nadal...

I'd looooove to see Rafa do this!

Whether Federer or Nadal does this, they'll both be accused of vulturing this title. NID on MTF.

I'd still consider USO 2010 as Rafa's greatest GS - 95% of tennis fans and experts never thought he'd make a USO final, let alone win it in such dominant fashion after doing the channel slam.

Yes, beating Djokovic 1.5 was a huge feat

Djokovic 1.5 had still beaten Nadal 3 consectutive times on HC leading into that final from memory. Correct me if i am wrong - but i think i am not and you are just a blind hater with 2 brain cells to your name.

It'd mean a lot more if Federer was still in his prime. Would still be a great achievement but Nadal should be beating Federer in straights nowadays, he's just got nothing to hurt Nadal with.

It would be their greatest achievement in a single Slam, considering the draws, indeed.

Shouldn't bets that require an avatar/sig of someone you hate also prohibit explaining that you lost a bet in the sig? At least make the person repeatedly explain in their posts that they lost a bet. More humiliating and tedious that way.

Edit: Apologies to the OP if he didn't lose a bet. The disclaimer at the bottom of your sig reminded me of what several bet losers have been doing.

I think Fed is still capable of beating anyone on grass if he plays his best on any given day. I give fed a good chance of beating nadal on grass still.

Beating Fedwig is not much of an achievement.

Federer could lose to Janowicz in Round 4.
