Top seed Coria falls to qualifier
French qualifier Sebastien de Chaunac stunned top seed Guillermo Coria at the Open 13 in Marseille to set up a clash with Britain's Greg Rusedski.
De Chaunac beat world number five Coria of Argentina 6-4 7-5 in Wednesday's first-round clash.
Coria, who had taken a 12-day break after last month's Australian Open, struggled badly in a one-sided match.
"The way I played today, my mother and my grandmother would have beaten me," he said.
De Chaunac, ranked 275th in the world, was delighted after his second big career win following his victory over US player Michael Chang at the 2002 French Open.
"I knew I had my chances but it's a magic moment, almost as big emotionally as when I beat Chang. He took me lightly. Too bad. I took my chances," the Frenchman said.
De Chaunac heroics ended by Ancic
French qualifier Sebastien de Chaunac saw his heroic run end in the quarter finals of the Open 13 in Marseille, as Mario Ancic recorded a 7-6 6-3 victory.
The Croatian, also unseeded, took an epic opening-set tie-break 13-11 to oust de Chaunac, who beat top seed Guillermo Coria in the opening round.
Good luck Seb for your next tournaments...
He plays qualifs in Dubai... First round : Bohdan Ulihrach....

Challenger SF, that's his best result of the year, isn't it?
I don't think I've ever seen him play, TBH, but I talked a little bit to him in Zagreb and he was very nice.
There is an interview of him on http://www.actualitedutennisfrancais.net/ (Rencontre avec...) and the site owner says that Seb gave him the idea of this website (a site about the French players ranked out of the top 100), I like he seems to do quite a lot to promote the life of the "journeymen", like with his monthly column in Tennis Magazine.
