Jiri Vesely!

Good for Jiri! Happy to see him there, and it explains why he withdrew from Gstaad! I like how Umag gives WCs to upcomers, like Kuznetsov last year, and Vesely this year

WD from Gstaad, he wouldn't have gotten in there directly anyway, so he didn't really WD, only way would have been a WC or as a qualy.

Vesely entered the tournament directly so Veic is given the 3rd WC.

Janowicz has also withdrawn, he was injured in Hamburg. Verdasco could also withdrew, he had problems with blisters in Hamburg loss to Delbonis.

Who will rest, than? i thought to go every day but I will go just for final now and to watch Borna. I will go to watch semis if will Monfils play vs Gasuet. This sucks big time. Really pitty, this should be one of the best Umag's tournament.

Yes, its a shame for the tournament, it was supposed to be very strong. Unfortunately, like I suggested earlier, Verdasco has also withdrawn. He retired from a doubles match today in Hamburg, few hours after losing his singles quaterfinal match against Delbonis. Its a shame.

If Fognini reaches the Final in Hamburg, he could also withdraw. He won last week in Stuttgart. He might want some rest or he might want to continue his good form.
