Re: Gilles Simon
Yes, he will be ranked #33 on Monday, both Andreev and Lopez have overtaken him this week and it looks like the whole top 32 is going to turn up in IW, of course.
I think he will be a little bit pissed because he had said in Marseille his goal was to be seeded for IW. (I'm still mad at Davy, LaLo was really good in the final, but he was terrible on Friday!)

Re: Gilles Simon
Can I post a couple of your pics, Ome? Just tell me if you prefer not, I'll edit them out.
They are from a photoshooting with many French players at the beginning of February:

It's ok, Fran
Yesterday I ran out of internet time before I could post all the pictures

Re: Gilles Simon
Oh, here you are already, I didn't know how long you would be without Internet, I was too impatient.
I can't rep you, but thank you for the pics! He doesn't look very comfortable compared to some others - but I would hate that too if I were them.

Re: Gilles Simon
You're welcome. Good thing you posted them
I thought all of them looked rather uncomfortable, except for Tati

Re: Gilles Simon
Of course, spread the Gillou love in the Italian forums! They're not mine.

Sure, if you compare them to Tati... But Mika or Mathieu Montcourt, for example, look like they're enjoying it! And even Paulo who usually seems a bit awkward looks quite cool this time.
Jo would be perfect for this "French players studio" thing, just look at the DC pic, he's the real star.
Gilles isn't bad, but that face he makes in every posed pic cracks me up - he doesn't look like that in person.

Re: Gilles Simon
Where can I find the pictures of Montcourt? Are they in his forum? I'm lazy.

Re: Gilles Simon
Berlocq in the first round, he's been really lucky with his draws this year! Reynolds, Guez, Cervenak... I like his draw, Youzhny in the 2nd round would't be too bad either, they had a very close match in Wimbledon last year:
[4] DAVYDENKO, Nikolay (RUS) vs BYE
BOLELLI, Simone (ITA) vs ISNER, John (USA) [WC]
MAYER, Florian (GER) vs FISH, Mardy (USA)
BYE vs ANDREEV, Igor (RUS) [31]
[24] HEWITT, Lleyton (AUS) vs BYE
HORNA, Luis (PER) vs QUERREY, Sam (USA)
SIMON, Gilles (FRA) vs BERLOCQ, Carlos (ARG)
BYE vs YOUZHNY, Mikhail (RUS) [13]

Re: Gilles Simon
yes, good draw for Simon because Misha is not in a good form ( ) and he can win the match.
Tomorrow I'll go to Florence for congress/holiday (I'll came back saturday or sunday) and so I entrust to Truc, Scotso and all the Simon fans, Gilles for his first round

They're new to me, Ome, and they're awesome, thanks!
I couldn't see the first pic so well in your avatar, I thought he was posing - boy, he looks great...

Re: Gilles Simon
I'm glad they're new. I wanted to post the first picture a while ago, but I lost it Yesterday I did some folder organizing and I found that pic in Gasquet's folder
There are a few more. But they're from Miami last year... Tell me if they've already been posted so I can edit them out.
