Thanks for the report, Vale!

[quote=Vale]Of course there´s his other side too. Zabaleta in a Q&A session chose as his favourite book “El Alquimista” (The Alchemist, a very good book that occurs in the Middle Ages, quite a literary event here), and he said the Gato gave it to him. I remember in an interview after RG Zabaleta said Gastón used to recommend him books to read.
QUOTE]

I remember reading an episode that Gaston gave "a book" to Zabaleta. Zabaleta said something like "when the things were not going well for me, Gaston gave me a book, saying 'read it - it's good for you'. He is too sweet to be in this competive tennis world." I think it was not in the main article but in the side article of a big Gaston-won-RG article (of La Nacion or Clarin).

Anyway, "The Alchemist" is one of my fav books ever. A truly beautiful story.
If anyone is interested, you can read the spanish version gratis on the web:

interesting word "bagayero"... I w not say Mirka's UGLY, just rather ordinary-looking and average, not glamorous or sexy like Latinas or attractive like Espanolas

Do you think we could suggest having the show on dvds on the site you've given. If so, it must be written in Spanish I suppose...

I hope that can be done. DVD's would be great! I'm sure people would buy them!!! Sign me up! We could do a petition to show interest.

Guys, sorry I didn't post a review this week, but I wasn't home for the weekend... If you still want a report, I can watch it again and write one. Jazz_girl (kindly, as always) posted screencaps at David's forum

Hi all! I've had rather a hectic weekend so I couldn't post anything about the programme, but later I'll tell you about it - at least what's Gastón-related.

Guys, I had forgotten to tell you that I had written them an email, a week ago I think, telling them to keep the show cause it's so fun, and that they're watched (in some way) not just all over Latin America but also other countries around the world and I got a response yesterday! I think it was from someone from the production staff but it was signed by them... They say hearing from us makes them want to keep on with the show and with their work on courtsm showing the other side of the tennis player's lives, and that we should keep in touch. And as a PS they wrote: "Esto es Tenis Pro y nada masssssss"

This week they showed yet more footage from Miami: Chela was pumping gas with his girlfriend and Mariano, and a man from Ecuador came by in his car and started saying crazy things and hitting on Chela's gf! It was so fun... the guy was kind of old and Chela's gf kept saying "no, he looks like my grandfather!" Also some more of the water-skiing thing, this time Mariano and Chela took one of those boat thingies (1 for the 2) and tried to stay above the water but Gastón and his driving prevented them from doing so... and they fell on the water once again.

They also had bits from Monte Carlo, with Mariano injured... he looked upset but he tried to have a good mood... and some from Barcelona, starring Tommy Robredo and his coach Monachesi (you know he's Argentine so they kept messing with him). That's what I remember as of now .
