Yeah sorry got the wrong info. He won the tournament anyway, didn't drop a set the whole way. If you actually look at his last 5 tournaments he has made two challenger finals and won a future title which is not a bad effort.
He now heads to the Shingle Springs future tournament where he is the defending champion and would be a very strong favorite to win back to back future titles. So at this point in time he has 14 points left to gain and two tournaments (Shingle Springs/future and Winnetka/challenger) to gain 14 points which is very attainable. After that he is going to have to make the equivalent of two challenger finals in terms of points between then and October.
It's gonna be tough but as long as Carsten stays grounded and continues his results and most importantly stays focused he will be ranking inside the top 150 by the years end.
