I hope too! But tournament type for this year is only: €42,5K. Horacio was last year the best player. In the Czech news are no comments about WC's.

Yeah, I know. It sucks to win a tournament and not go back to defend it. But he needs ranking points, and he's not playing any Wimbledon warmup, so I hope you guys get to see him.

It would be nice I think 2 WC's are for some players from TOP 50 (maybe Horacio or Martin Klizan). And 2 WC's are for some Czech players (maybe Jan Hernych and Dusan Lojda), because in MD is only one home player.

Martin would be smart to take one, he is really struggling and needs some confidence. We'll find out in the coming days....

As I remember (not sure for 100%) Ostrov (island) Štvanice is on the picture. Are all courts under water now? Will the tournament be moved to another place possibly?

Yes, courts are in the middle of this picture. And Štvanice is closed because of the floods.
This picture is from 2002, but I'm afraid that it's going to be quite similiar now:

And this picture shows courts in Sparta Prague areal, where the womens ITF $100,000 tournament was held 2 weeks ago:

Don't know if this tournament will be moved to other place or cancelled.

Maybe have it in indoor clay. They can't cancel it now, the players all signed up and are ready to come, it is next week.

Actual news:
In this time are courts on island Stvanice without water. River Vltava currently doesn't rise. The water would have to rise about 2 meters to flooded area.

More information will be later on the tournament official Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pragu...67930869926916
