I look at what time he requested a WC in the Bucharest thread now.

clansman is a new player, maybe he wasn't sure in which one he would get a wc, so he asked for both. So he should play only the tournament in which he asked for a wc first and got it.

At 9.52PM on Sunday he shouldn't have asked for WC, the deadline for commitments wasn't over yet.

What is the procedure when a player picks a certain match, and then one day later picks the same match, but with the opposite winner?

a) Should I cancel both picks?
b) Should I consider only the first pick?
c) Should I consider only the last pick?
d) Should I consider both picks?

It happened with kindablue in Beijing.

IMO a)
I had the same situation in USOpen.

The case:
PAW1: PLAYER A over PLAYER B
PAW2: PLAYER B over PLAYER A

is equal with not putting picks (paws) at all.

btw this case will be added as point to the Supplement to The Official PAW Rules

We have 1 week off, so let's get back to the TMC discution

Which of the following options do you suggest as a qualification factor to YEC?

A. TOP 7 + 1 GS Winner (ranked 8-20)
B. TOP 8
C. TOP 15 + 1 GS Winner (ranked 16-20)
D. TOP 15 + 1 GS Winner (ranked 16-40)
E. TOP 16
F. Other option (what kind?)

Then I'd vote for the option B, to reward the players who were more consistent throughout the year, instead of someone who had a great run in a Slam but didn't achieve much outside it.

Just my 2 cents anyway.

It was fine with 16.
Now we have tie break rules so there is smaller chance for ties.
We can add another TB rule if that's a problem. I suggest that if there are ties not resolved by the usual rules, ranking will be determined by ranking in the Champions Race.

BTW... entry to the Masters Cup is determined by Champions Race ranking and not the entry ranking.
What do the other managers think about that?

Personal opinion: TMC is played with 8 players irl, so we also play with 8 players and besides there are too few matches to support a larger field.
Suggestion for this year: play with 16, cause last year we also played with 16 and I feel it's unfair to people ranked 9-16 to change it now.

Also I think we should allow one Grand Slam winner outside the top 15 to enter the tournament (might not be the case this year, but who knows).
