I didn't remember it that clearly and rewatched parts of the Berdych/Djokovic matches, thinking it was a bit overblown how we are talking about the wind and maybe just to make fun of Andy. But damn, it really was BAD

Maybe even worse than what we're saying on MTF.

Let's compare Milos to the top 10 in order to be fair to him:

First Quarter-finals:

Djokovic - Slam at 19 , Masters at 19
Murray - Slam at 21, Masters at 19
Federer - Slam at 20, Masters at 20
Nadal - Slam at 18, Masters at 18
Ferrer - Slam at 23 Masters at 22
Berdych - Slam at 22, Masters at 20
Del Potro - Slam at 19, Masters at 20
Tsonga - Slam at 22, Masters at 23
Gasquet - Slam at 21 , Masters at 19
Tipsarevic - Slam at 27, Masters at 24

Worth nothing that those who have won Slams have achieved significantly more than Raonic by the age of 22.

Worth noting again that I have only included them reaching the quarters as minimum. In some cases the players had gone onto the semis, finals, or even to win the event (Nadal for example).

Djokovic is not that good to the point where he will win every slam in sight. This is not 2011 anymore.

There is no * next to the USO. If there is an * anywhere it is next to Murrays fitness in the last couple of sets at the AO. Also everyone seems to forget how close he was to being 2-0 in that final, the end result could have been very different.

They tend to go hand in hand. How else do you measure the improvement of a player if not by results?

Sorry, but what improvement?

Do you mean an improvement in that he consistently reaches the fourth round of events? In that case I'd agree. If you mean improvement in that he is playing a lot better, I massively disagree and you only have to use the facts to see that.

You mean Murray, Djoko King and Nadal?

If anything the prominent two players of the 3 way rivalry will be Djoko King and Nadal, Murray will still be there but winning less than the other two and winning events on hot streaks.

The fact that you are even comparing Raonic to the Top 4 is a success in and of itself.

Even if you say: "Well, he is not as good as them and here's why", he is on the right track.

Yeah I was maybe being a bit harsh on Nadal. He will still be a huge factor on clay and maybe Wimbledon(if he can get through the first week), I don't see him beating Slamrayovic on hardcourts too often though.

What?

I am comparing Raonic to the top four to show the RaonicTards just how far away their hero is from winning an event of any significance.

The first 25 games of the AO final ended exactly the same as the USO final 7-6 6-5*

Indeed, he was jumping around like he was 12 years old.

He knew this was a tough match.

Federer was 19 yrs 9 months 3 weeks when he reached the RG QF, not 20. Lest you should reply "That is almost 20" I highlighted Nadal's 18 too, which is in itself correct, but he was much closer to 19 when he reached his first slam QF than Federer was to 20. In fact, he had his 19th birthday later in the same tournament.

As for Masters, Fed was 19 yrs 7 months when he reached Miami QF in 2001. Perhaps you mistook his birth year for 1980?
