Re: Nico Picture Thread
As I said, I don't SPEAK Spanish either. The only thing I speak in Spanish is cheering. I can hardly understand it (at least "Spanish Spanish", I nearly don't understand anything of the "Latin-American Spanish"). But I can read it quite well.

But you're right, that's all we need to know .

Re: Nico Picture Thread
THANK YOU!
It was great too read, it's really impressive that you can read Spanish
I only understand some little words, but I can't make a story out of that . I'm still trying to learn more, but it's really difficult to do in my free time. I have also lots of homework .

Re: Nico Picture Thread
The most practice I got when I started to read Argentinian newspapers in the web. Additional to that I try to follow the minute-by-minute reports of matches in the Spanish football league (at least of some teams, not of all), but that helps a lot for the passive knowledge (which is the specific term for being able to read in a language, but not speaking it.)

Re: Nico Picture Thread
We don't get a Spanish tv channel in Holland, only the Italian Rai Uno . Since this year we have Rai Uno instead of one of my fav German channels which is RTL, I really like Günther Jauch in that Millionaire show .

Re: Nico Picture Thread
Kezzi, I do "watch" the reports by web! I don't have Spanish tv-channels either. I have the French TV 5, the typical American CNN, they stole us the Turkish channel at the beginning of the year

Re: Nico Picture Thread
i know what you mean kezzi...i´d love to learn spanish, too but it´s just too hard to find enough time to do so. my plan is to do a spanish-course as soon as i have time for things like that, i really hope i´ll finally manage that as it´s just a wonderful language!

Re: Nico Picture Thread
Yeah, I also hope I can find some time. And I want to learn French too, I have a few friends in France and I promised I would try to learn the language. It's getting busy for me

Re: Nico Picture Thread
I found a really sweet picture on Nico's almost finished website (see other thread ) .

Soooo adorable how he looks at that baby . I remember reading somewhere the baby was his cousin/niece (don't know for sure if it's his sister's baby or from someone else in his family )

Re: Nico Picture Thread
I want that calendar too . I didn't know there was one, otherwise I would have bought it right away . Is it a calendar for 1 year or a birthday calendar you can use always?
