Did anyone see what was up with Viola? Weird score to retire on. I hope he isn't seriously injured.
Viola was up a break in the 2nd set and couldn't win, in the 3rd set he was again 3*-1 up, then lost 4 games in a very tough fight and retired when Sergeyev broke him last time. It's only nerves IMO I've judged only by scoreboard, because that court wasn't streamed
Are you kiddin me or was this just an ironic way to show Violas attitude to the sports?
Viola was break up in the third. He can't lose fair it seems. Disgusting behaviour.
Whenever I see Viola play, he always fights his heart out But that has been at bigger events than this. Still, he needs the points and this is a big Challenger. It's pretty disgusting to retire at that score unless there is a serious injury.
